i wanted to add that i am also in a long distance relationship. and i also consider myself to be the type of person who needs their space. but since its long distance im totally different. just talking to him once a day is not full filling or good enough for me sometimes. i feel extremely needy and i hate it. i know i am not this needy in real life.

if you really dont like having to talk to her on the phone all the time... learn to IM or text each other? Shes your girlfriend, she wants to feel like shes part of your life. She wants to know whats going on. I really dont think you have a good enough excuse to not talk to her. If you were super busy... then yeah that would be a good reason. But you dont want to talk to her because you dont feel like it. Thats horrible, think how that must make her feel.

Honestly, I think you need to get over your issues and just talk to her more. Its a long distance relationship, which makes things very difficult. Communication in any relationship is very very important, especially when you dont get to see each other often. If you two lived near each other or even lived together, things might be different. she would be more willing to give you your space once in awhile. Be considerate of her feelings. If you cant handle doing the things that make a long distance relationship work, then do youre girlfriend a favor and end it. Dont keep hurting her like this. Its not fair.

i dont think you are wierd my boyfriend is the same way. I just think you have to look at it from her side if she loves you and you guys are in a lond distance relationship she nees that talk, she needs to feel you in the only way possible by voice. She wants to stay connected with you. But word of advice if u really love her although it may be enough for you to only talk once ever couple of days; if you want to keep her around meet her half way aleast to keep her happy.
